How long is an epithalon cycle?

The usual epithalon cycle is 10 days in a row, repeated 2 to 3 times a year, with a 20-day variant.

How long a cycle runs

An epithalon cycle (we call it a course on the dosage page) is a stretch of daily injections followed by a long pause. The standard length is 10 days in a row at 5 to 10 mg once a day. A 20-day course at that same daily amount shows up as a less common variant.

These figures are the convention on peptide education pages and vendor sites, which credit a research group in St. Petersburg, Russia. No approved label and no dose-finding study sets any of them, and none of it comes from a study that compared schedules.

The two schedules side by side

Course Days Times a year Milligrams per course
Standard 10 days 2 to 3 50 to 100 mg
Extended 20 days 1 to 2 100 to 200 mg

The milligram column is math from the daily range, 5 to 10 mg times the number of days. Over a year, that puts the standard schedule at roughly 100 to 300 mg and the extended one at 100 to 400 mg, also arithmetic from those same figures.

What it changes for your dosage and your order

Months pass between courses, so the planning question is how many vials a single course takes and when the next one would fall. A 10-day course repeated 2 to 3 times a year puts the courses several months apart, and the dosage page describes the gap as months, not weeks. A 10-day course at 100 mg is ten 10 mg vials or five 20 mg vials. At 50 mg it's five 10 mg vials or 2.5 of the 20 mg ones, and you'd buy three of the 20 mg. A mixed vial keeps for 28 days in the fridge, so a half-used vial left at the end of a course won't last until the next one.

Since you're buying 50 to 200 mg at a time, compare vendors on price per milligram against the course total, not on the price of one vial. The epithalon dosage page has the full chart and vial math, and the epithalon page has live prices. If you're unsure how many units to draw each day, how many units are in a 10 mg epithalon vial covers it, and how much bacteriostatic water to use covers the mixing.

It's sold for research, and the big human trials haven't been run yet. You knew that, it's why you're reading this and not the label.

Questions people ask

How many days is an epithalon cycle?

Ten days is the standard length, with one injection a day. A 20-day course at the same daily amount is a less common variant.

How many times a year do people repeat epithalon?

The 10-day course is usually repeated 2 to 3 times a year, and the 20-day course once or twice a year. Both come from education pages, not from a study that compared schedules.

Is a 20-day epithalon cycle better than a 10-day one?

No study has compared them, so there's nothing to say one is better. The 20-day course is simply the less common pattern and doubles the milligrams.

Can you take epithalon every day without a break?

No study or label sets daily use with no stop date. The pattern people describe is a short course followed by months off.

How much epithalon does one cycle use?

At 5 to 10 mg a day, a 10-day course is 50 to 100 mg and a 20-day course is 100 to 200 mg. That's 5 to 10 vials of 10 mg for the 10-day course.
