How many units in a 50mg epithalon vial?

A 50mg epithalon vial holds 100 units for every 1 mL of water, and the dosage stays 5 to 10 mg a day.

A South Asian woman about 48 with a long dark braid counts with one finger at a white kitchen counter, a larger vial and five thumb-sized vials lined up on a pale tray

Why the vial size doesn't change the dosage

The dosage for epithalon is 5 to 10 mg once a day for a 10-day course, and that's true whether the vial holds 10, 20 or 50 mg. The range comes from peptide education pages and vendor sites, and no human dose-finding study has set it. A bigger vial gives you more days from one mixing. With the same amount of water, it's also more concentrated, so each dose is a smaller draw.

Our epithalon dosage page charts 10 mg and 20 mg vials and doesn't have a 50 mg table. Everything below is math from its 5 to 10 mg range, not a figure from a source.

Units in a 50mg epithalon vial

Water Strength Units in the vial 5 mg dose 10 mg dose
2 mL 25 mg per mL 200 units 20 units 40 units
3 mL 16.7 mg per mL 300 units 30 units 60 units
5 mL 10 mg per mL 500 units 50 units 100 units

To find a draw, divide the dose by the strength in milligrams per mL, then multiply by 100 to get units. The units in the whole vial are the milliliters of water times 100. A U-100 syringe holds 100 units in 1 mL, so every draw in the table fits in one. Less water means a smaller draw that's harder to read on the syringe, and more water means a bigger draw that's easier to read. Check how much liquid the vial itself can hold before you plan on 5 mL.

What it changes for your order

A 50 mg vial lasts 10 days at 5 mg a day and 5 days at 10 mg a day, which is well inside the 28 days a mixed vial keeps in the fridge. At 5 mg a day, one vial is a full 10-day course. At 10 mg a day a course is 100 mg, so you'd mix two. The standard course is repeated 2 to 3 times a year, as covered in how long an epithalon cycle is.

When you compare vendors, compare on price per milligram, since a 50 mg vial and five 10 mg vials hold the same epithalon. The epithalon page shows who's carrying it, and units in a 10 mg vial has the smaller-vial table. For any other water amount, the reconstitution calculator does the same math.

It's sold for research, and the big human trials haven't been run yet. You knew that, it's why you're reading this and not the label.

Questions people ask

How much epithalon from a 50mg vial per day?

The same 5 to 10 mg once a day as any other vial size. The vial size changes how many days it lasts, not the daily amount.

How much bac water for a 50mg epithalon vial?

No source sets one. With 5 mL, each mL is 10 mg and the draws are 50 and 100 units. With 2 mL, each mL is 25 mg and the draws are 20 and 40 units.

How long does a 50mg vial of epithalon last?

10 days at 5 mg a day and 5 days at 10 mg a day. Both fit inside the 28 days a mixed vial keeps in the fridge.

Is a 50mg vial one full course?

At 5 mg a day, yes, since a 10-day course is 50 mg. At 10 mg a day, a 10-day course is 100 mg, so two vials.

Can a 50mg epithalon vial hold 5 mL of water?

Check the vial itself, since it has to hold what you add. Less water makes each draw smaller and harder to read, and more makes it bigger and easier.
