Peptide Price Lab exists to do one thing well: tell you what a research peptide actually costs, per milligram, without spin. Everything we publish here follows from that same commitment. This page lays out the standards we hold ourselves to. If we ever fall short of them, we want you to be able to point at this and say so.
Research use only, and we mean it
Everything on this site is for informational and research purposes. Nothing here is medical advice, a recommendation, or a prescription, and we do not tell anyone to put a research compound in their body. We write about what published research shows and what it doesn't. Decisions about your health belong between you and a licensed clinician, not a website.
How we handle prices
Prices on PPL come from two places: what you enter and what we find. The free calculator converts your inputs (product price, vial size, quantity) into a cost per milligram so you can compare options on the same footing. We also pull publicly listed prices and surface promo codes where we find them. A paid tier is in development, where our team verifies and maintains vendor pricing directly. Vendor numbers change constantly, so always confirm with the source before acting on anything. When we quote a price in an article, we date it, because a price without a date is just a rumor.
How we source claims
When we describe what the research says about a compound, we are summarizing published studies, not testimonials, forum posts, or vendor marketing. Research notes cite their sources so you can check our work. Where the evidence is thin, animal-only, or early, we say so plainly rather than dressing it up. "We don't know yet" is an honest answer, and we use it often.
Plain language, no hype
We write to be understood, not to impress. That means no miracle framing, no sensationalist buzzwords, and no implied promises. If a finding is striking, the numbers carry it without our adjectives. If something is uncertain, the writing should leave you more cautious, not less.
Independence
No vendor pays to appear in our research notes, to rank higher in a comparison, or to be described more kindly. The vendor directory is informational, and inclusion is never an endorsement. We do use affiliate codes in some places, but only under strict conditions we spell out in our affiliate policy. The short version: the better deal always wins, even when it isn't ours.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do, we fix them and say what changed. If you spot an error (a stale price, a misread study, a broken link), tell us at editor@peptidepricelab.com. Catching mistakes is part of how this stays trustworthy, and we appreciate the ones you flag.
